Patrick Wall (b. 1982) lives and writes and edits in Waltham, Massachusetts.
By day, Patrick is a senior editor at a content marketing firm in Boston, Massachusetts. By night, he’s a freelance writer who’s won seven feature writing awards from the South Carolina Press Association and has been published in altweeklies, in national music rags and websites, and on Air Force One. He’s also a freelance copyeditor who’s worked with small independent record labels and international service organizations. In a past life, he was music editor of Free Times, the alternative newsweekly of Columbia, South Carolina.
Patrick is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications, where he was managing editor of the Carolina Reporter student newspaper. He’s a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the American Copy Editors Society, and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
In his free time, Patrick makes music, plays defense on beer-league hockey teams, and watches as much baseball as he can.
Patrick is carbon-based, and he finds it extremely weird to write about himself in the third person.
